イタリアのローマで2016年9月1日から4日に開催された「第28回国際環境疫学会年次総会 (28th Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology)」 に参加してきました。
国際環境疫学会（ISEE）は、国際学術雑誌Epidemiologyの母体となる国際学会であり、年次総会では例年、環境保健を中心に幅広い分野の演題が発表されています。今年も大気汚染による健康影響などを中心とした多くの発表がありました。
今回は、以下の三件のポスター発表を行いました。一件目は、疫学理論を応用して、検診データなどで得られる有病割合を罹患率に変換することに関する内容でした。二件目は、福島における甲状腺がんに関する分析結果を発表するものでした。そして三件目は、高齢者における黄砂の健康影響に関する内容でした。
